Repeat prescriptions are medicines your doctor wants you to take ongoing.
They appear on the back of your prescription.

Prescriptions Information
Requesting Online
You can request repeat prescriptions through our online service: Systm Online.
Why does it take 2 working days?
Requests are received daily. Our prescription clerk checks your records to confirm the medication is on your repeat list. A Clinical Pharmacist or doctor then authorises it to make sure it is still suitable. Once approved, reception prepares it for collection.
Delays may happen if:
– a requested item is not on your repeat list,
– the request doesn’t match your usual dosage, or
– your doctor needs to review your medication.

Non-Repeat Prescriptions
For medication not on your repeat list but needed occasionally (for example hay fever treatment), book a telephone consultation with the GP Clinical Pharmacist.
If you need more of a medication previously prescribed but not on your repeat list, you should also arrange a telephone consultation.
Written requests for non-repeat medication may take longer than 2 working days, as the doctor may need to speak with you first.
